Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET 2017) is a university level test that is conducted by the Symbiosis International University. SET is organized for admission to undergraduate courses of the Symbiosis university and its constituents Institutions. The examination si commenced once in a year in first week of May as a pen paper based test. This entrance test will be held in various cities of the country. SET Exam 2017 Application Form
Candidates can fill the application form through online mode from the official site. The Symbiosis SET 2017 Application Form will be available from the first week of February 2017 (tentative). Candidates can fill the Symbiosis entrance test application form till second week of April 2017 (tentative).It is compulsory to complete registration by filling up the online application form of desired institute for desired course before the closing date of application of the respective institute. The SET website allows a facility for payment toward online application for the institutes along with Symbiosis SET 2017 payment.Application Fee
The Application Fee is Rs.1500. While paying Symbiosis SET application fee online, candidate can also pay the admission fee to the preferred institute. The admission fee is Rs. 1000 per institute, except for SICSR. (For SICSR, the fee is Rs. 1000 per programme.)The fee is non-refundable. Candidates can pay the fee through five payment methods: Credit Card, Net Banking, Indian Bank Net Banking, Cash and Demand Draft. Those candidates submit the fee through Cash they can pay the fee from any branch of Axis Bank/Indian Bank. Candidates who pay fee via DD, they can deposit the fee from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune. SET Exam Pattern
The SET Exam will be held through Pen & Paper mode. It is an objective type test. The time duration of the entrance exam will be 2 ½ hours. There is no provision of the negative marking. The entrance exam has various papers: General, Design, Law, Engineering and Health Sciences. The exam will be organized in two sessions: morning and afternoon. The paper of Law and Design will be conducted in the morning session and paper of General, Engineering and Health Sciences will be held in the evening session.
