Symbiosis Management Quota Fees Structure

Symbiosis (SET) Eligibility 2017 must be fulfilled by the candidates who want to apply for undergraduate courses in the member institutions of Symbiosis International University (SIU). SET is the written test that is conducted for five different papers namely General,  Design,  Law,  Engineering  and  Health Sciences. SET is organized for various undergraduate courses that include B.Tech, B.A.LL.B, BBA.LL.B, BBA, B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc Economics and B.Des. Here, SET 2017 eligibility criteria for different courses is mentioned. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria of the course for which they are applying.

B.Tech	Prerequisite qualification is 10+2 passed with Physics & Mathematics as a compulsory subject with any one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects. The qualifying examination (12th) must be passed at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).
B.A.LL.B & BBA.LL.B	Passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with atleast 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidates). Candidates who have appeared the 12th exam and results are awaited are also eligible to apply subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of admission.
BBA	Minimum educational qualification of 10+2 passed in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST) is required to apply for this course. Admissions for all International students are done through Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE) of Symbiosis International University.
B.Sc (Economics)	12th passed in any stream with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST category candidates).
B.Sc Nursing	Higher Secondary Examination/12th as the qualifying examination should be passed with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST) taken together in PCB subjects. It is mandatory for the students to pass 12th with PCB and English subjects separately.
BA (Mass Communication)	Passed 10+2 (or diploma in education pattern of 10+2+3) in any discipline from the recognized State Board of Technical Education. Minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST) will be required in qualifying examination to be eligible for admission.
B.Des	Passed 10+2 or 10+3 diploma in any stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks. Candidates who are appearing 12th or last year diploma examination are also eligible to apply.

 Symbiosis SET Admit Card 2017 will be announced in the last week of April 2017. Symbiosis SET Admit Card 2017

Candidates can get the Symbiosis Entrance Test admit card from the official link which is available from the last week of April 2017. Candidates are able to download the SET 2017 Hall Ticket till the date of entrance test. Candidates must save the admit card till the admission process of the desired Symbiosis Institutions are not over. Candidates must ensure that their latest passport size, colored photograph is pasted on the admit card.
Candidates admit card will be verified by the examiner on the test day. In case, candidate lost admit card, no duplicate Symbiosis (SET) admit card will be issued to the candidates. Candidates have to bring the SET admit card along with the photo identity proof to the exam centre. The Photo Identity is any one of the following:

Symbiosis SET Admit Card 2017 Date

SET Exam will be conducted through offline (Pen & Paper) mode in the first week of May 2017. Candidates can download their Symbiosis Entrance Test hall ticket from the last week of April 2017 through online process. The result will be declared after a few weeks of the entrance test. Candidates can view their results in the third week of May 2017. After a few days of the result declaration, the selection process will begin.

SET Exam 2017 Application Form

Candidates can fill the application form through online mode from the official site. The Symbiosis SET 2017 Application Form will be available from the first week of February 2017 (tentative). Candidates can fill the Symbiosis entrance test application form till second week of April 2017 (tentative).It is compulsory to complete registration by filling up the online application form of desired institute for desired course before the closing date of application of the respective institute. The SET website allows a facility for payment toward online application for the institutes along with Symbiosis SET 2017 payment.

Application Fee

The Application Fee is Rs.1500. While paying Symbiosis SET application fee online, candidate can also pay the admission fee to the preferred institute. The admission fee is Rs. 1000 per institute, except for SICSR. (For SICSR, the fee is Rs. 1000 per programme.)The fee is non-refundable. Candidates can pay the fee through five payment methods: Credit Card, Net Banking, Indian Bank Net Banking, Cash and Demand Draft. Those candidates submit the fee through Cash they can pay the fee from any branch of Axis Bank/Indian Bank. Candidates who pay fee via DD, they can deposit the fee from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune. Symbiosis Entrance Test Eligibility

SET Exam Pattern

The SET Exam will be held through Pen & Paper mode. It is an objective type test. The time duration of the entrance exam will be 2 ½ hours. There is no provision of the negative marking. The entrance exam has various papers: General, Design, Law, Engineering and Health Sciences. The exam will be organized in two sessions: morning and afternoon. The paper of Law and Design will be conducted in the morning session and paper of General, Engineering and Health Sciences will be held in the evening session. Candidates can apply for more than one paper. However, they will have to choose one paper from morning and another from evening session.

Symbiosis SET 2017 Admit Card

Symbiosis SET 2017 Admit Card will be available from the last week of April 2017 (tentative). The admit card will be provided from the official site. Candidates can download the admit card till the date of entrance exam. Candidate will save the admit card till the admission procedure of the desired institutions will not over. In case, candidate lost the admit card then no duplicate admit card will be issued.

SET Exam 2017 Result

The result will be declared after the few weeks of the entrance exam. Symbiosis SET 2017 Result may be announced in the last week of May 2017 (tentative). It will be published in the official portal. Each institute has its own cut-off score according their preference.

Symbiosis SET 2017 Counselling

Each Symbiosis constituents Institutions has its own independent selection process for the short-listed candidates after the announcement of the result. The schedule of the Symbiosis SET 2017 Counselling process will be published in the official site of the Institution for which you have paid. After qualifying the entrance exam, candidate has to qualify the Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT). On the basis of the entrance exam performance and PI-WAT, candidate will get admission in their filled choice.

Symbiosis Admission

Only those candidates that attend the entrance test and PI-WAT will be considered as eligible for generation merit/wait/reject list. If a candidate apply for seek admission in Engineering and Health Sciences on the basis of test (such as JEE Main 2017) other than SET 2017, then there is no need to register for SET, rather they can apply directly to the concerned Institution
