About Santosh Medical College.
Santosh Medical College and Hospital was established in 1995. Since then, eleven batches of medical student batches have graduated.. Most of the graduated students have done exceedingly well in academics and are pursuing their postgraduate career in Institutions of repute Nationally and Internationally.
Medical Council of India has accorded permission and duly recognized the postgraduate courses in 17 disciplines. Nearly 70 students are presently pursuing their post-graduation courses.
The college was accorded the Deemed Universities Status by the Ministry of HRD, duly recommended by U.G.C. in the year 2007

About Santosh Dental College.
The Government of India, under Section 10A (4) of the Dentists Act 1948, granted permission to start the B.D.S. course with an intake of 40 students from the academic session 1995-96 in Santosh Dental College, Ghaziabad. Initially, the course started with 40 students. The Central Government granted permission for increasing the student capacity from 40 to 100 from the batch of 2004- 2005. The students are given a complete understanding for the biological and physical process of oral health care. They learn the skills associated with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases related to oral cavity. The students learn to serve the society by improving the dental and oral health of individuals. The associated dental hospital provides special dental care in paediatrics and oral surgery.

Santosh Medical College MBBS Direct Admission

The Santosh College of Medical Sciences & Research Centre is affiliated to Santosh University, Ghaziabad,Delhi-NCR. Santosh Medical College, Ghaziabad established in 1995. Maharaji Educational Trust received a formal letter of intent to set up a private medical college in the name and style of Santosh Medical College, Ghaziabad. The College initially in the year 1995 commenced functioning with permission of the Central Government to admit 50 students annually The first batch of students received their recognized MBBS Degree in the year 2000 awarded by the Ch.Charan Singh University, Meerut. From the year 2005-06 onwards the Central Government granted permission for increase of seats from 50 to 100 in MBBS Degree course. The annual renewal permission is received every year.

 

The medical college has received letter of permission from the Ministry of Health, Govt. of India to start admissions in the MBBS course for the session 2005-06.Also in the campus are, a 450 bedded speciality teaching hospital established in October 2002 and four storied medical college and a residential complex. • For admission to M.B.B.S., B.D.S. – Pass in PCB and English at 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate taken together from recognized Board (40% marks for reserved category SC/ST/OBC)

11	Hemato Path. (Pathology Dept.)	06	The candidates who possess a recognized Degree of MD in Pathology/Paediatrics/Medicine will be eligible for Ph.D. inHemato Path in the Department of Pathology.
12	Obst. & Gynae.	02	The candidates who possess a recognized Degree of MS/MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology will be eligible for Ph.D. in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

Importants notes for the Ph.D. :

Fellowships / Grant / Funding:

• Admission to Ph. D course will be subject to the availability of research funds/fellowship/grants from recognized funding agencies i.e. Pool Officer from CSIR, ICMR, DST, INSA etc. The admission will be finalized and offer sent to the candidate only when evidence of the availability of research funds/grant/fellowship for the project is submitted by the selected candidate through the concerned Head of the Department.
• No fellowships / Grant will be provided by the college during the Ph.D. programme.
• The expenses if any, towards consumable items, shall be borne by the Ph. D student.
• In case the student is selected for Ph.D. programme and no Fellowship / Grant from a recognized institution / college is available with him/her in that case the student is required to bear all expenses for the same.
